Meredith is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with adolescents, adults and couples. Prior to working at Mill Creek Family Services, Meredith served clients in several non-profit agencies as a mental health provider, a crisis intervention specialist and supervisor for other therapists.

Meredith creates a safe, non-judgmental space for you to overcome challenges and move toward your goals. Her transparency, integrity, and honesty are evident in her relationships with her clients.

Meredith uses a variety of therapeutic approaches in her practice. Some of these include: cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT),  Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Gottman Method Couples Therapy. Meredith is attachment-oriented in her work and uses mindfulness approaches.

    Areas of specialty include:

    • Post-Traumatic Stress
    • Anxiety
    • Depression
    • ADHD
    • Bipolar
    • Psychosis
    • Personality challenges

Meredith’s approach to therapy recognizes the importance of previous relationships and life events and their impact on your current experience of life. She also encourages you to see how your current thinking and choices are contributing to your challenges – and alternative approaches to un-hook you from old patterns. She is mindful of providing the particular kind of help best suited for you. Meredith’s favorite aspect of providing therapy is seeing the “Aha” light bulb go off in a person’s head when things come together.
