Nora Faram, MSW, LICSW

Nora is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker providing therapy for adults from various racial, ethnic, socioeconomic backgrounds, and faith traditions. Nora has worked in community mental health organizations, colleges, clinics, and hospitals. She has a wealth of experience working with cancer patients and other life threatening/chronic illnesses. Nora also has extensive experience working with veterans and their families.
Nora is deeply empathetic and creates a safe and trusting space for the therapy process. She listens to people’s stories so she can best help them navigate life’s challenges. She helps clients build on their existing strengths, learn new skills, and become more self-aware so that change can begin to take place.
Nora’s years of experience include psychodynamic psychotherapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), grief and loss, mindfulness, and art therapy.
