Amy Strickland, MA, LMFTA

Amy is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate working primarily with individuals, couples and various relationship constructs. She creates a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and relational patterns. 

Amy’s journey into therapeutic practice has been driven by a deep curiosity about the complexities of human relationships and a commitment to foster emotional well-being. She appreciates that humor and collaboration can often cultivate the connection needed for clients to get unstuck and move ahead in their lives and relationships.  

Amy meets her clients in the moment, encouraging them to reflect and draw back to their center.  She takes a system’s approach to therapy that primarily includes Structural Family Therapy, emotion focused therapy and solution focused therapy. Additionally, Amy is clinically trained as a sex therapist, and can offer a skills based approach to addressing problems related to sex and intimacy.
