Chloe Traynor, MA, LMHC

Chloe Traynor is a Licensed Mental Health Therapist who works with adults. Chloe has a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling, as well as a master's degree in teaching. Chloe believes all behavior serves a purpose, even when it is keeping someone feeling stuck. She tailors her clients’ therapeutic experience to their specific needs, while bringing warmth, empathy, and curiosity to the counseling relationship. Chloe conveys unconditional positive regard for everyone she serves – helping you make meaning of your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors as you work toward your goals. 

Chloe uses a variety of therapeutic approaches in her practice. She works from a psychodynamic perspective, utilizing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), narrative therapy, internal family systems therapy (IFS), and emotionally focused individual therapy (EFIT). She is attachment-oriented and person-centered in her work.

Chloe’s background in teaching allows her to be especially skilled in providing clients with education about their internal struggles. Chloe has had the honor of serving diverse and underserved populations and approaches counseling with a social justice framework. Chloe has been trained in Gabor Mate’s trauma & Compassionate Inquiry approach, as well as completed Level 1 of Emotion Focused Individual Therapy training and is EMDR trained.
