Chloe Traynor, MA, LMHCA
Chloe Traynor is a Licensed Mental Health Therapist Associate who works with children, adolescents, and families. She believes that children and adolescents are naturally capable of healthy growth and development. Chloe believes all behavior serves a purpose, even if it’s keeping someone feeling stuck. She uses this principle to individualize therapy for a client’s specific needs and the changes they desire. Chloe expresses empathy, unconditional positive regard, and an understanding of complex internal systems to discover strengths in each client.
Chloe uses a variety of therapeutic approaches in her practice, which include trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), narrative therapy, internal family systems therapy (IFS), play therapy, sensorimotor therapy, and emotionally focused therapy (EFT).
With her time teaching and background in education, Chloe also uses psychoeducation to help children and adolescents better understand their internal systems and complex identities. Chloe has had the honor of serving diverse and underserved populations and approaches counseling with a social justice framework.
