Chris Kapetanov, MA, LMHCA
Chris is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate who works with teens (13+), adults, and couples. He is passionate about supporting people in their unique journeys of self-reflection, healing, and personal growth. Chris strives to create a welcoming and collaborative therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful change.
Chris uses evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals. His clinical work incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma. He works collaboratively with clients to build practical coping skills, increase emotional awareness, and process difficult experiences in a safe and supportive space.
