Emily Fleischhauer, MS, LMHC

Emily is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who specializes in working with children, teens, adults, and families. She is passionate about creating a warm, supportive, and compassionate environment where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process.

Emily believes therapy is a collaborative journey and values building strong, trusting relationships with her clients. She takes an individualized approach to treatment, tailoring therapy to each person’s unique needs, strengths, and goals. Her work is grounded in a strengths-based, trauma-informed perspective that recognizes each client’s resilience and capacity for growth.

Emily incorporates a variety of evidence-based approaches into her work, drawing primarily from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing(MI). When working with children, she also integrates play-based techniques and play therapy approaches to support emotional expression, development, and healing in ways that are meaningful and age-appropriate.

Emily is committed to helping clients build insight, develop effective coping skills, and create meaningful change while feeling supported every step of the way.
