Janette Branca, MA, LMFTA

Janette is a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate who works with children, teens, adults, and families. She is passionate about helping people navigate challenges related to grief, relationships, family dynamics, and self-worth. With a warm and collaborative approach, Janette creates a supportive space where healing and growth can take place.

She draws from evidence-based approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, family systems theory, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Janette supports clients in gaining insight into their inner experiences, developing practical coping tools, and strengthening their relationships with themselves and others. She is attuned to how early relationships and life experiences influence present-day emotions and patterns of connection.

Before becoming a therapist, Janette worked in social services supporting individuals and families facing complex challenges such as housing instability, trauma recovery, and severe mental health needs. These experiences have shaped her deep respect for human resilience and her commitment to culturally responsive, trauma-informed care.

While she has spent much of her career working with children and adolescents, Janette has found profound fulfillment in supporting adults in the therapeutic setting. She enjoys helping clients untangle relational dynamics, process grief, and reconnect with their sense of self and purpose.

Areas of focus include:

  • Family dynamics
