Jenifer Smith, MA, LMHC

Jen is a Licensed Mental Health counselor who enjoys working with children, teens, adults, and families. She understands the importance of cultivating safety and invites you into a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental space to share your story and create your own goals. She believes her role is to walk alongside you during this time of self exploration, healing, and personal growth.

Jen uses a variety of therapeutic modalities, including person-centered therapy, CBT, Habit Reversal Training, psychodynamic strategies, polyvagal theory, emotion-focused strategies, strength based approach, Motivational Interviewing, solution focused, and trauma informed care. When working with children, she uses movement and play therapy as it allows for children to learn to self-regulate and communicate in a natural and non-threatening way. Jen values the uniqueness of all individuals and is passionate about providing neurodivergent and gender affirming care to all.
