McKenzie Hoyt is a Licensed Mental Health Therapist who works with children, teens, and adults. She believes all behavior serves a purpose, even when it is keeping someone feeling stuck. McKenzie tailors her clients’ therapeutic experience to their specific needs, while bringing warmth, empathy, and curiosity to the counseling relationship. McKenzie is trauma-informed and uses a variety of therapeutic approaches in her practice. Some of these include Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based grounding techniques.

McKenzie is particularly skilled in educating clients about their external behaviors and internal struggles, allowing you to better understand yourself as a whole person. She values her work with diverse and underserved populations and approaches counseling with a social justice framework.
