    McKenzie Hoyt is a Licensed Mental Health Therapist who works with children, teens, and adults. She believes all behavior serves a purpose, even when it is keeping someone feeling stuck. Mackenzie tailors her clients’ therapeutic experience to their specific needs, while bringing warmth, empathy, and curiosity to the counseling relationship. She conveys unconditional positive acceptance for everyone she serves, allowing you to fully explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. McKenzie will partner with you to identify and achieve your goals in a meaningful way.

    McKenzie is trauma-informed and uses a variety of therapeutic approaches in her practice. Some of these include Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based grounding techniques.

    McKenzie is particularly skilled in educating clients about their external behaviors and internal struggles, allowing you to better understand yourself as a whole person. She values her work with diverse and underserved populations and approaches counseling with a social justice framework.
